Sara's Halloween festivities actually began a week or so ago when she attended her school's Fall Family Night in which the students got to dress up and played various games. The school had even brought in a gigantic bouncy device that the kids proceeded to wear themselves out on. She definitely got her sleep that night.
The week following she got to go Trick or Treating at Daddy's building. Another big hit with her. She gets to go to various offices on several floors, trick or treat and then go to a conference room where the kids get to color and watch a show.
Friday the 30th we decorated our pumpkins. I think they turned out pretty good this year...and then of course there is the big day itself....Halloween.
This year we had the Flanagan family over again. I believe this is our 3rd year in walking the neighborhood together. The Flanagan's live just up the street from us. Sara and their oldest son Aiden attended the same preschool last year.
Not only did they join us but another preschool family that also lives relatively close by, the Oberlenders.
The kids started out by decorating some cookies that I made, followed by a nice supper and then proceeded to get bundled up and ready to hit the neighborhood. They had a blast walking our little loop. A couple houses on our street even put out some roaring fire pits which the kids thought were really cool. Despite the freezing temperatures everyone had a blast.
We are already looking forward to next year.

How exciting. Sara is at such a wonderful age to enjoy all these activities.
Remember them, this is the best time for all of you.
