APRIL???

What can I say about April, other than it amazes me how quickly it went by. April started off on a sad note when we received word that Bill's Uncle John passed away on April 3rd.

Uncle John had a farm located in Athabasca, Canada. This was where we were able to take Sara on our last holiday two summers ago. She adored John and his farm. The biggest things Sara will miss are sitting on his lap, dancing on his "stage" (his large green porch) and catching frogs.

Thankfully we were able to send Bill back to attend the services and lend his family support. He had to fly out on Good Friday so we decided to do some of our Easter celebrations early with Sara.

One of our annual Easter traditions that we have created with Sara is going to the local downtown Imaginarium (a science center for kids) and joined in on their "baby chick" demonstrations. Sara got to hold a baby chick and enjoy its company for quite some time. She just loves these things.

Later that evening we had a blast watching Sara color her eggs. She is so intrigued in all the different and bright colors she can make.

Good Friday we started the morning off by having our annual Easter Egg hunt in our house, followed by the opening of her Easter basket. This year she got some chocolate, some neat games and a new doll.
