Our very good friends, "The Barkers", were able to join us. We hiked, had many roaring fires, danced to the Reggae Band, ate great food and most of all laughed. It was the first time in a long time that Bill and I laughed so hard that our guts hurt the next day. What an awesome feeling that is.
Sara kept busy by playing with other kids in the campground, riding her bike, playing with her guinea pig, collecting bugs, building sandcastles and dancing 'non-stop'. One thing that we were able to do with her was release the 10 Painted Lady Butterflies that she watched over for the past month. She was able to watch them go from caterpillars...then change into chrysalis'...and then into beautiful butterflies. Sara then made the decision to take all 10 butterflies to Montana Creek to release them. It was really neat to watch her little face light up while she was saying goodbye to all her flying friends. Their names are..."Sprinkles, Lile, Lady, Katy, Sparkles, Daisy Kayla, Sily, Sami & Lyla". All made an awesome exit to there new home. Well done Sara.
