Sara is actually one of the youngest on her team...(it is an U6 division made up of 4 and 5 year olds) and is also not the biggest; which is a definite switch for her. She did great on her first day. She joined in and seem to have a good time. Although waiting and taking turns during game time is a bit hard on her, but she just has to learn. Below are a couple of pictures of her in action.
In other news, we have had a very busy two months. As most of you know the remodeling is complete with exception to some doors and trim. We also had our first garage sale. We managed to make some good $$, however, we have sooo much stuff left that we were hoping to get rid of. According to people coming to our sale, we picked a bad weekend. Apparently there were dozens of churches in the area having sales and fund raisers. Not to mention there is some major road construction going on in our area which is preventing traffic from coming in.
So for now, I re-organized things for a possible end of summer sale; and I have also posted some of the larger items on Craig's List in hopes of clearing out more room in our garage.
We are also planning our first motor home camping adventure this coming weekend...thanks to Mom & Dad (Bill's folks). They are storing their motor home here at our house while they are in Arizona and are allowing us to use it. This weekend we will test drive it on a short excursion to Portage Glacier (about 50 miles South of Anchorage). We will take tons of pictures and be sure to post a blog. Sara is SO excited about going. I think she is just excited that the three of us are doing something together. It has been so crazy around here that we really have not spend much quality family time together; so this will be a well deserved break for us all.
